Logline: When an unexpected journey between friends leads to a traumatizing chance encounter, a teenage girl must decide whether to continue rejecting her mental health diagnosis or finally come to terms with it.
SAHAARA is a short film that aims to bring awareness to adolescents in the BIPOC community dealing with mental illness. SAHAARA opens a meaningful dialogue about mental health in young adults, empowers them to seek professional help, and promotes active engagement with the help and support they need and deserve.
